Wind Power

Wind power is a popular form of renewable energy, which keeps growing steadily. Utility-grade wind power is typically generated in wind farms, which consist of several wind turbines. Wind power production requires a comprehensive set of products, like frequency converters and a substation, to connect the wind farm to the electricity grid.

Netcontrol helps the wind energy producers to manage their complexity at  the wind farm. At the heart of the solution is Netcon 3000 master station with it’s ability to measure and control a large number of wind mills from a central stations.  At wind farm substations and windmills, the Netcon 500 remote terminal unit features communication capabilities, programmable control functions, process interfaces and local HMI.

Netcon ALL-IP communication solution connects the wind mills, substations and other infrastructure to the central station over secured and redundant communications.
