ABB highlights Netcon 200 and Netcon 500 for critical infrastructure at Sadales tīkls’ practical training in Latvia

Netcontrol, now part of ABB, joined Sadales tīkls in their practical training event on August 13, 2026 at the film city “Cinevilla” in Tukums, Latvia, bringing together over 400 energy sector specialists from the Baltic states, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and Ireland. Organised for the 18th consecutive year, participants had the opportunity to improve their skills for acting under heightened threat conditions and ensuring the continuous operation of critical infrastructure facilities.

During the event, our experts presented the Netcon 200 and Netcon 500 RTU solutions to energy industry professionals, highlighting their capabilities in reliable network automation and managing of substations, even in adverse conditions. Visitors discussed relevant topics around the energy sector’s reliability, effects of increased military and hybrid threats on energy grids and how to minimise disruptions in power supply networks with practical solutions.
