OP

The Netcon 500 OP is an advanced, touch screen–based HMI for the local supervision and control of a Netcon 500 primary substation system.

The Netcon 500 OP user interface is highly configurable, as in modern SCADA systems. Its functionality includes the following:

  • Diagrams with circuit breaker or disconnector states, measured values and ability to issue switching commands
  • Alarms with acknowledgement functionality
  • Alarm/event history stored in plain text files, one per day
  • Configurable trend view

The standard OP hardware consists of a low power, fanless, industrial 18.5″ to 24″ touch-screen panel PC with 12 V DC, 24 V DC or 230 V AC power input, 0…+50°C operating temperature range and the Windows 10 IoT operating system. Optionally, a more powerful tower computer can be specified for office-like conditions. For stronger cybersecurity, the system is always hardened before delivery.
