Netcontrol acquires fast-growing electrical engineering company Voltyx AB
Helsinki, Finland. June 5, 2024 – Netcontrol is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 100% stake in Voltyx AB, an electrical engineering company focused on project management, design and testing of electrical substations and systems.
Headquartered in Västerås, Sweden, Voltyx employs 13 people and is a strategic addition to Netcontrol’s customer offering. Netcontrol is the market leader in energy network automation in Sweden and together with Voltyx will be able to offer their customers a unique range of state-of-the-art products, engineering know-how and services. The acquisition will expand and diversify both companies’ customer bases, ensuring the capability of conducting larger projects and deliveries.

Netcontrol, established in 1991 in Helsinki, Finland, is an international company with 90 employees in 5 locations across Europe. Netcontrol specializes in products and services for energy network automation. The offering includes utility SCADA systems, secure connectivity and control of substations and grid automation solutions.
Voltyx AB, established in 2020, is an electrical engineering company focusing on project management, design and testing of electrical substations and systems. Voltyx AB became part of Netcontrol AB on June 1, 2024.
